Geraldine Stewart Pertame

Geraldine (Southern Arrente) woman grew up south of Alice Springs. She attended primary school in Alice Springs and Adelaide. Geraldine completed second school in Walla Walla, NSW. Geraldine left school to work at St Mary’s Child and Family Welfare Service. She then lived in the bush for two years working on a cattle station for a period of time. Geraldine then moved to Perth with Sister Kates Child and Family Welfare Service. Geraldine was married with three children when she entered education and began studying. She then returned to full-time employment working as the Trainee Manager, Pertame Arts and Crafts, Tangentyere, Gap Youth Centre, Tangentyere Safe Families.
