The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is conveniently located in the downtown Brisbane area in the heart of the South Bank Precinct and can easily be accessed by car and public transport. • Brisbane's famous City Cat Ferries - cruise the Brisbane River and depart from dedicated access points every 30 minutes and every 20 minutes during peak hour. The nearest CityCat terminal is located at South Bank, a short stroll from the Centre.
• There is a bus way station located within easy walking distance to the Centre.
• The Centre has its own dedicated taxi rank and secure undercover car park providing 1,600 car park spaces, 24 hours a day at the delegate rate of $12 per day. 
• There are also set down and pick up bays for coaches, with parking available.

Airport Transfers

Brisbane airport is approximately 17kms from South Bank and can be reached easily by either train, car, taxi or bus.

AirTrain

Airtrains depart from the domestic and international terminals every 15 mins (in peak times) and take 20 minutes to reach Brisbane CBD. You can book online at http://www.airtrain.com.au/ or purchase your ticket at the train station. A single adult fare from the airport to the CBD is AU$12.00. All pre-booked passengers will be met in the airport and a complimentary porter will assist with your luggage to the Airtrain station at either the Domestic or International Airports directly outside the terminal. Airtrain stops at all downtown stations including South Bank.

Taxi

Both Yellow Cabs (Phone 131924) and Black & White Cabs (Phone 131008) service Brisbane and surrounding areas. Within the Brisbane CBD taxi ranks are located near most major hotels. As an example, a weekday trip from the Brisbane CBD to the airport would cost approximately $30. The trip takes roughly half an hour during the day but can take up to an hour during peak traffic times (7am - 9am and 4pm - 6pm). Taxis with wheelchair lifts are available on request. Most taxis offer EFTPOS and credit card payment facilities.

Shuttle Bus

Coachtrans is the Brisbane Airport’s only licensed operator. They have four customer service counters located adjacent baggage carousels at Qantas, Virgin and outside immigration at the International Airport. The coaches access an exclusive, private bus stop directly outside the baggage carousels and meet all flights.

CityCats and CityFerries

The CityCat is a popular, speedy way to travel the river for work or pleasure. CityCats are sleek, twin-hulled catamarans that make a wonderful sight as they glide across the water. Destinations include South Bank, the University of Queensland, New Farm and the city. CityFerries are generally smaller boats and they make more stops than the CityCats. CityFerries are most often used by Brisbane residents to get to work, university or school.

CityTrain – Brisbane’s suburban and metropolitan rail network

Queensland Rail's CityTrain network extends throughout South East Queensland, and also links with the AirTrain service to Brisbane Airport. Check out the Citytrain route maps, and search for latest timetable information and find out how much the trip will cost. (see www.citytrain.com.au/)

Free downtown loop bus service

The Loop is a free bus service that circles Brisbane's CBD. The Loop stops at several destinations including Central Station, Queen Street Mall, City Botanic Gardens, Riverside Centre, QUT and King George Square. Buses

An extensive network of bus routes throughout Brisbane provides coverage to most areas of the city. Feeder services from nearby cities such as Redcliffe and Logan operate to major suburban hubs as well as into the Central Business District.
